The library is in the process of a well-deserved makeover. A gratious group of volunteers spent a day during winter break painting portions of the library to brighten it up. The yellow in the lab looks great! Also, the PTA approved purchasing many items this year to assist in the makeover. Arthur, Madeline, Clifford and Where the WIld Things Are character standees are on display in the easy fiction section. Students love the characters and are excited to have them in the library. In addition, "Fiction" and "Nonfiction" signage has been ordered, as well as, a "Book Return" sign for the book drop AND a large, bi-lingual story rug for the easy fiction section. Students will sit on the rug while listening to a story being read aloud. Lastly, Dr. Clark has purchased four stools for the patron computers on the bar around the pillar - chairs are too short.
