The first shipment of the Washington Library Adopt-A-Books has arrived just in time for the holidays. Adopt-A-Books make generous and thoughtful gifts that last years. By adopting a $10 book in honor or memory of someone you know, you are not only donating to the library's collection, but are also gifting that book to each and every Washington student - for years to come.
Adopt-A-Books are displayed on a rack outside of the main office with an Adopt-A-Books form inserted into each. Interested in adopting? After selecting a book, remove it from the rack, complete the form, include $10 cash or check made out to Washington PTA and place it in my mailbox - Mrs. Reif - in the office.
Each donated book is labeled on the inside cover indicating for whom the book was adopted and by whom. A student for whom a book is adopted in his or her honor is given the privelege of being the first Washington student to check it out.
